Pavement Preservation and Roadway Rehabilitation
The Town of Sahuarita and the Arizona Department of Transportation are partnering to improve pavement conditions and re-stripe along the following roadways; La Canada Drive, portions of Nogales Highway, and Duval Mine Road. Various roadway treatments will be utilized along these roadways.
Traffic control devices will be in place to direct travel through the affected roadways during construction operations.
Pavement Preservation & Roadway Rehabilitation Paving overlay along Nogales Highway between Calle Valle Verde north to Pima Mine Road will continue, weather permitting, on Saturday, September 17 and Monday, September 19.
Striping will take place the week of September 19 on La Canada Drive, Duval Mine Road, and Nogales Highway.
The Town of Sahuarita advises drivers to proceed with caution, obey all posted speed limit signs and be alert for construction equipment and personnel. Please do not follow construction vehicles into the work zone.
