The Town of Sahuarita 2011 Election will be conducted entirely by mail. Mail-in ballots will be mailed to all actively registered voters within the Town on or about February 10, 2011 for the March 8, 2011 Primary Election and on or about April 21, 2011 for the May 17, 2011 General Election. These ballots will be mailed by the Pima County Recorder’s office. Voted ballots must be placed and sealed in the provided Affidavit envelope, and then either mailed to the Pima County Recorder’s office, or hand-delivered to the Pima County Recorder’s Office or the Sahuarita Town Clerk’s office. The Pima County Recorder’s office will perform the signature verification function in accordance with State Law.
The Sahuarita Town Hall will be a Ballot Replacement Center. The Town Clerk Department will provide on-site voting and ballot replacement beginning February 11 through Primary Election Day March 8, 2011; and April 22 through General Election Day May 17, 2011, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays; and 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day. Voters will be able to come to Town Hall to drop off their voted ballot, obtain a replacement ballot, and receive election information. Three voting booths, including one ADA accessible booth, will be set up in the lobby of Town Hall. The County Recorder’s Office will also have replacement ballots available at their downtown office at 115 North Church Avenue in Tucson for both of these elections at the same dates and times as the Sahuarita Town Hall ballot replacement center.
La Elección del 2011 del Pueblo de Sahuarita será realizada totalmente por correo. Las boletas para votar por correo serán enviadas por correo a todos los electores que estén activamente registrados en el Pueblo el 10 de febrero del 2011 para la Elección Primaria del 8 de marzo del 2011 o el 21 de abril del 2011 para la Elección General del 17 de mayo del 2011.
El Ayuntamiento de Sahuarita será un Centro de reposición de boletas. El Departamento del Secretario del Pueblo proporcionará reposición de boletas y votación en el sitio a partir del 11 de febrero y hasta el Día de la Elección Primaria el 8 de marzo del 2011; y desde el 22 de abril hasta el Día de la Elección General el 17 de mayo del 2011, de lunes a viernes, desde las 8 a.m. hasta 5 p.m. los días de semana; y de 6 a.m. a 7 p.m. el Día de la Elección.
