Sahuarita Lake Park, located at 15466 S. Rancho Sahuarita Blvd is a 15 acre park with a 10 surface acre lake, grassy areas and an approximate 1 mile pathway surrounding it. There are several picnic areas and benches along the pathway as well as fitness equipment. The amphitheater can be reserved for a fee with a permit but the two gazebos are on a first come first serve basis. The Town puts on concerts periodically in the amphitheater area and partners with The Arizona Game and Fish Department’s Urban Fishing Program for family fishing days several times a year. There is a restroom at the north and south ends of the lake for the convenience of the public. For park rules, go to the park rules link. Swimming is not allowed in the lake but every year, Tri-Tucson holds its annual Triathlon at this park and contestants swim the lake as part of the event.
